For Instructors

Congratulations on deciding to become a Division Ex instructor! Whether you are already working as a fitness professional or whether this is your first step towards a career in the Fitness Industry, we guarantee it will be a rewarding choice. As a Division Ex instructor, you will be the recognised tribe leader creating your very own division of common culture. The power of group fitness is exhilarating! Division Ex group fitness classes are unique, pre-choreographed group exercise programs suitable for all fitness levels. The classes immerse participants in engaging, paramount group fitness experiences and this can potentially transform and positively impact the health and fitness of your participants and community. Division Ex programs are perfect for instructors looking to expand their skill set and increase their earning potential. However, the training courses ensure that all instructors can confidently teach their desired program(s) on completion, regardless of their prior experience, providing that they hold the necessary pre-requisites. Division Ex offers affordable qualifications and involves simple ‘no-frills’ choreography making it easy to learn. Classes will appeal to instructors who have taught various other pre-choreographed programs but will also appeal to freestyle instructors as there is more room for individual flair. We encourage instructors to make the class their own. Division Ex highly encourages Personal Trainers to become qualified in Division Ex programs because we know that your clients will come to your classes! We offer perfect group fitness programs for trainers who are looking to add a group fitness class to their repertoire, but who have been put off by time-consuming choreography or fear they are lacking in coordination. It is a great way to give something back to your clients as they attend your class, they will also enjoy seeing you train with them. It is also a great way to pick up new clients and generate leads. Teaching a couple of Division Ex classes a week may even cover most of your Personal Training rent and it will keep you fit and healthy at the same time.

‘Have to say they are the most informative and comprehensive notes I’ve had for any of my Courses over the years in Fitness. I’m so impressed with the detail and delivery of this program.’

Susan Bonnar, Instructor

How It Works

Instructors can choose to study online or attend an upcoming one or two-day workshop. Please note that specific workshops at specific locations for multiple enrolments can be organised by emailing Division Ex at info@divisionex.com. Online courses require prospective instructors to submit a video of themselves teaching an imitation class for their assessment and pass to obtain qualification. Workshop assessment requires prospective instructors to teach a track to the other course participants at the workshop and pass to receive qualification. Qualified instructors are required to pay a small quarterly fee to retain their qualification and receive Division Ex membership. Membership provides login access to the Division Ex website where new choreography and any other educational materials can be retrieved instantly as they are uploaded. As Division Ex programs are pre-choreographed, qualified instructors must learn and teach the new releases on a continuing basis. Membership fee debits do not necessarily coincide with new releases. Check out the Instructor FAQs and Instructor Agreement Terms and Conditions for more information.
